<<Y2K Cultist, by my definition is persons who believe the world may end as we know it, or we will enter a major depression worse than the 30's.>>

Thanks, Cheeky, for the definition. Clears it up for me. Regards.

Ok, Cheeky. Next question. What is the difference between a "Y2K cultist" and a "true alarmist"?

Personally, I was a bit stunned when you called Bill Ounce a "true alarmist" (#reply-6780338). All Bill had done was to suggest how one might be able to tell whether a recession was caused by Y2K or not.

Perhaps you were joking?

Cheeky -

I never EVER said there was no problem, I just can't believe the Doomsayers scaring people with false information.

In the absence of leadership, the doomsayers rush in & fill the vacuum with their end-of-the-world nastiness.
