SanDisk is adding a new member to oversee the retail sales force. I guess it would be worse if they were laying off vice presidents instead of hiring. Sandisk Names Rick Dyer Vice President, Retail Sales and Digital Imaging Business Wire - December 15, 1998 10:15 SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 15, 1998--SanDisk Corp. (Nasdaq:SNDK) has named Rick Dyer vice president of retail sales and digital imaging. Dyer, who has extensive sales and marketing management experience in large retail and distribution channels, will oversee SanDisk's worldwide retail sales activities. He formerly served as vice president of North American sales and marketing at Adobe Systems and vice president of sales and marketing, Americas, for the digital and applied imaging division of Eastman Kodak Company. He also held sales and marketing management positions at Apple Computer and Hewlett-Packard Company. Dyer will report to Leon Malmed, senior vice president, sales and marketing. Dyer holds a B.S. degree in engineering from Northwestern University and an M.S. degree in business from the University of Texas.
