Please read my post no 18834. The 50/50 number was reported widely yesterday. 30 some % do want him gone...The failure of the Republicans to represent correctly to the public the ugly truth of the mans actions against truthtelling women he defames is what's really deplorable. Again it's worth noting that NIXONS ratings never wavered right up 'til the end either. We so HATE to see anyone attacked so. Doesn't mean he deserves to hold the office of President a minute longer.

I found it rather easy to find out how to write my Congressman. I searched (on Hot Bot) for U.S. Congress, got the Congressional homepage with links as to how to look up my 5+4 zip code which when entered produced my Representative. When I entered my information it came up with an addressed email letter which I filled out the body of and then sent. I urge all to do the same.

I strong do NOT want this President to be impeached, I do not want the consequences, the expense, the further embarassment.....YES, I consider this very very embarrassing. Having European family, I know how ridiculous this is considered by other countries. I want Clinton to be left alone so that he can get back to managing this country. I am worried that his spirit will be broken by this. A man can only withstand so much garbage. We need him to be functioning. He does everything else very well.

Michelle, I'll bet if the Democrats are willing to run the country by polling numbers the Republicans would go right along with them.

Let's see...
That would mean....

1. A balanced budget Amendment would pass.
2. Term limits would pass.
3. Racial quota's would vanish.
4. Taxes would go down.
5. Spending would decrease.
6. Able bodied welfare recipients would be forced to work.
7. Jail terms would be mandatory.
8. Partial birth abortion would be banned.
9. Microsoft and Intel would be left alone.
10. A flat tax or consumption tax would be passed.

What do you figure the odds of the Democrats going along with this plan is? The Republicans will forget about perjury and obstruction of justice. As long as the Democrats follow the polls in these issue. :-)
