YOU GOTTA LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

SEE YOU IN OCTOBER!!!!!!!!

He may be throwing a 65 miles/hour fast ball by the end of the contract but you gotta LOVE our prospects for the next season. The announcment made my weekend.

Piazza, was and is a franchise player. You can't argue with a guy that hits over .320 consistently. He wasn't really a leader and he hurts on defense, however. I was in Denver when the Rockies (Eric Young) stoll a team high career high 5 bases in one game! He is just worried about getting his, however, so despite his numbers, unless you supplement that with some other form of team leadership, the Mets will be contenders but fall short in the clutch. The pick up of Bonilla, with his WS experience, looks better and better for them.

Now if we can just get Mondesi, Karros, Sheffield, Hundley, Young, and Devon White to put up their typical numbers and perform for our new manager, we will finally whup the Giants and Padsthis year.

What are the M's doing to get Clemens???
