Additional information about the Longport scanner for cancer detection
and other medical applications -
(PanAmerican Healthcorp will be marketing this scanner nationally.)

The LDS is a portable high frequency (20 MHz)
ultrasound scanner which captures and
reproduces images of soft tissue at a high
resolution utilizing a lap top computer. The
images can be stored in a .bmp file and
e-mailed to an off site diagnostic center for
interpretation. Included in the imaging process
is the ability to produce a fractal analysis of any
portion of the imaged tissue for objective
interpretation. Scans can be compared in a tile
format with up to six (6) scans viewed at one
time.

The LDS has
demonstrated
positive use in
the field of
wound
management
as well as
identifying
potential for
pressure ulcer
development.
The potential use of the LDS is being explored
in the field of Dermatology with Thomas
Jefferson University performing a study for the
detection of satellite nodules or in-transit
metastases in patients with malignant
melanoma and skin changes in reflex
sympathetic dystrophy (RSD). Additional
studies are targeted for pressure ulcer
development and prevention, detection of
radio-opaque foreign bodies, sports medicine,
rehabilitation of patients with known breast
pathology, veterinarian applications, burns and
associated treatment modalities to determine
efficacy of a variety of wound products and other
studies designed to produce information of a
variety of conditions affecting soft tissue.

I can relate. I lost both my sister and niece to cancer two years ago. It sounds like the Longport soft tissue scanner is an important piece of medical technology that will save lives and be desired by the medical community. Marketing this device seems like a solid business decision for Pan American.

Not only has the cost of health care skyrocketed, but the cost of insurance has risen enormously. There is a large segment of the population whose income is too high for federal/state benefits, but who can't afford the premiums of most health care providers. POWERx is providing a much needed service to an overlooked niche in the health care market.

As for the strange volume and manipulation going on with the stock, it's all guesswork right now. I'm going to practice patience with this.

IMO, If the POWERx and other divisions generate half the revenues that I think, I will win the bet.
