Dave, What is your opinion regarding the oft proposed theory that the price of gold is being "managed" by certain players who continue to benefit from low prices and who would be burned by a major rally?

If this theory is plausible, any ideas on who is most likely doing this?

If the CB's are keeping the synthetic market profitable by filling in the gap between mine supply and physical demand then can we infer that they are knowingly playing this "management" role?

This whole market is intriguing and terribly frustrating. I think all of us appreciate your views and input on the "big picture".

Thanks, Pete

Dave, eventho I'am going to buy more MGR shares, I'll post good news about MGR.

I heard that some investors sell at the end of the year to counter the gains of
other stocks. Eventho MGR is in the lost place for 99% of those that are now
holding, I doubt it can go lower than Canadian 5 cents, but maby we can see
a 4 or 3 cents.

Anyway, time for me to shoot myself in the foot and cause the share price
of MGR to go up a couple pennies or a couple dimes or a .....

Eventho advanced degrees and lots of on the job experience can be found
in many companies, it really takes a unique type of person, along with a good
supporting group of persons, to take a company from ok to excellent.

The thoughts of "I can, I will, I am good, I'am confident, etc" are needed,
but alone will not get the job done to the expected completion. Also need
to have a handle on events that will have to be deal with.

So, with the following from your posts:

... I'm saying is even the giants started small.
... recognized potential where others didn't.
... inspired, geologically-derived theory that was not well
supported by the establishment at the time.
... By turning Bumbat on as a source of cash flow, MGR can look to expand
where reasoned thought suggests that there may be opportunity.
... Dave

You have a vision, along with the others that are running MGR, of a future
for MGR as a major player in the gold getting from the earth arena.

You cannot tell us of the potential you see out there, but you can do a simple
summary of the others on your team that you feel are in step with your vision,
and will help you accomplish it.

I remember the MGR web site has a whos whos, but would you like to also
put on a post anymore information.

Thanks, Doug

Dave, In line with your recent postings I see that PDG is taking out Getchell (GG0) for $34/share vs Friday's trading at $16/share. Looks like the big fish are getting into a feeding frenzy. PDG is using shares, not cash. Love to hear your opinion on most attractive gold company buyout candidates. Pete
