Try not to read sarcasm into my posts. I know you're not bashing and you present logical questions and scenarios/possibilities.
My ? was genuine. If there are restriction rules that can be broken, give me an example of how it could be done. And if it can be done, there must be a major hole in the rule.

How many of those 50 million shares traded in the 3 day period were BUYS vs SELLS?

I know that the tight spread and frequent change of the bid/ask makes an accounting of trades at the ask elusive, but a general number should not be hard to figure if you have the logs.
