References made over on the yahoo board indicating that there may have been inconsistencies in nn's earnings because of the differences in currency u.s. to canadian$ An actual loss of 3% versus a gain of 7%.I first came across this on portwatch.com.I believe that Pat may have addressed this earlier or is this a new revelation someone has come up with after reading the most recent SEC filing.

Thomas --

I don't know, but someone else may.

I'm doing a follow-up to last week's announcement between Intel and Bookham:
newsalert.com

And from NN's website:

prodweb.newbridge.com

Once more, TM beats the pack by years.

Other links for Bookham:

eetimes.com

eetimes.com

And from my favorite tech writer, Loring Wirbel:

eetimes.com

My challenge, now, is to find out how Bookham and SDLI overlap, if they do.

Pat

NN does their own manufacturing. As a side note,
that was one of the reasons they thought they could
turn UB Networks around. UB used Solectron, and NN
management believed that by manufacturing UB products
in house, they could make UB profitable. (That's
only my opinion, but I was at UB at the time).
