Hey, it was no intrusion at all, Katmando! Actually, I appreciated your input. Actually some of your advice confirms things I have been thinking: get the largest HD available and don't bother with a 450, get a 400.

I am definitely going to be looking at the offerings of Dell next month as well as those of Compaq. I know people who have Dell's think they are great. Since I don't hold any shares of DELL but do of CPQ, however, if it looks like I find two systems I'd be equally happy with, one by each, I'll probably go with the CPQ. HOWEVER, I am going to start looking with an open mind.

Thanks again. Its good to hear from someone who until recently was in the same boat I am.

Regards,

Lynn
