Sandra,

Don't give up so fast.
We have to support the best of the "scumbags" we
can find who are willing to go to Washington.

Know a better way?

Sandra--Forty five years ago, a junior senator from Wisconsin went on a similar witch hunt. He ruined numerous lives and careers with false innuendo; all the while, draped in the flag and looking for Commies under every desk.

His name was Joseph McCarthy and his Chief Investigator was Roy Cohn.

Visit the Lincoln Memorial and I think you may find there are tears streaming down old Abe's cheek, ashamed at what has become of his party.

BTW, McCarthy died a drunk and Cohn died of AIDS. Justice has a way of coming due, even if it gets delayed every now and then.

What is that phrase? "Vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord", not Jerry Falwell's.

<Its outrageous!..> Sandra, can I take this to mean you condone presidential perjury, manipulation and the abuse of power? I can still picture him, pointing his finger in that address, lying to me and the rest of the American people.....I did not have sexual relations with that woman.....(frivilous,maybe-maybe not)........I think he should be held to the very highest standard,he chose to serve the public, and except the responsibilities that came with that profession,IMO ;^) DD (I'm still undecided at this point-but do not think the censure article,as written would not have been appropriate)
PS: don't mean to sound like I'm picking on you,I'm not...We can only hope that our elected officials can really "vote their conscience"
BTW,I would never stand a chance in public life<lol>,but I didn't chose to be the President of the United States of America.
Heres a thought, impeachment or castration, the choice is yours Mr. President........now that's a censure<g> Perhaps the answer lies in a resignation...He is basically powerless now anyways..we are a country without leadership,IMO
