sometimes you get what you pay for

Sometimes, you don't get what you pay for, too. Almighty Dell sent me the wrong keyboard with my build to order. And of course they packed in the wrong video drivers. Did I mention that the current video drivers had been out for two months? Did I mention that no one on Dell's helpline could diagnose the problem? Had me reload Win98. It was "3-D Drivers" supposedly. And the "friendly" people on the helpline would not have made first team All Manners.

Coby, The trick is, buy a no-name at a major chain store and get their on-site warranty. You are not likely to beat $599 for a box, monitor and printer, and with CompUSA behind it, you got somebody to sue when it doesn't work.
