Hmm. When I am "reading tea leaves," I tend to find myself looking at how the Asian and European markets are doing. At this moment, Hang Sen down about 3.5%, Asia mixed. Suspect Clinton has something to do with it, unfortunately. I say unfortunately because I want Clinton to be impeached and removed from office, because I perceive Clinton as corrupt and unworthy to be president. But I can see how people in countries that favor government by "strong men" would be frightened of chaos if our "strong man" is removed from office. On the other hand, I have heard commentators say that it is prejudiced to think that people in other countries are not sophisticated enough to understand the United States' constitutional process. Maybe they just know something about Gore that we don't?<g>
