Elmer, is that a .25 MM dot pitch monitor? If it has a true 21" diagonal(as recent lawsuits have forced them to speak true) then it will be just under 17" across and .25 DP will give you just over 1720 dot triads? Sometimes they simulate the effect with a dot skip here and a dot skip there, as the Matrox drivers are smart enough to do this in co-operation with the Viewsonic drivers. Perhaps they simply throw away some edge rows. You would need a test program to see where your edge really was. A test program will put a line at the 1 pixel edge and another at 1800, can you see them?
