Oh, Intel chips had the problem. They just sucked up to Microsoft and dumbed-down the chips...of course, at that time that had to because Win95 was the "cutting" edge. Behave, will ya... Jim

Thanks for all the advice, I just got back from ordering from my friendly local "box" maker. AMD K6 400, Super 7 MB, 128, Nvidia Riva TNT 16MB, 4th gen DVD, Jaz, AL 48s w/subwoofer, 12GB HD, 19" .22 dp, MS Sidewinder Pro, 250 watts, yada, yada, yada. $2,000.00. Should I consider 3Dfx Voodoo? Two more cards? More heat. Bruce
