<<...by setting such a low precedent for the law...>>

Truth and justice. Wow, I wonder what you would consider a high precedent?

<<future lawmakers will us it as a reason to eliminate what you think are your constitutional rights and into the slammer you will go>>

What a concept. You corrupt the justice system and deceive the nations elect and go to jail.

<<.... just like communism>> Hahahahahaha. Nice try, if we enforce standards of truth and justice, we automatically convert to communism?

What a crock! I hope this is sufficiently lacking in logic for all to see.

War is peace, ignorance is strength, and impeachment is about "truth and justice". Tom DeLay is going around telling all the Republican Congressmen to "vote their conscience" too, as long as their conscience indicates they should vote for impeachment. Otherwise, they better just do what DeLay says, or they'll be in deep doo-doo.

I've actually been rereading "1984", being an old fan of Orwell, and he has some good ideas for the moral reformation wing. I've mentioned the Junior Anti-Sex League before, but one I'd forgotten is the Two-minute hate, along with Hate Week, and no doubt other variants. I don't think he ever got to the 4 year hate, though, or the Presidential Term of Office Hate, or the "liberal filth" hate. With the moral reformation wing blaming it all on the '60s, I'd guess you'd have to have a Generational Hate too, to fit it all in. So much hate, so little time.

It'll all be better if they can just get rid of Clinton, though. Really, it will.
