alleged "crimes" Perjury, obstruction of justice, and witness tampering are real crimes. No italics needed. It is the obvious reason that Clinton cannot bring himself to acknowledge the legal issues and continues the verbal kabuki dance ad nauseum. It is ironic that his failure to admit to real crimes may in fact ultimately be the basis for his impeachment. bp

<<What do you think happens to civil discourse under these circumstances?>> 1) It is possible that the Charles Manson "Helter Skelter" prophesy is fulfilled. 2) Optimistically we could successfully call on one another to move the discourse to one based on the principles of Justice with compassion, consideration; and raising the consciousness of America to a higher esteem. A little problematic in that in order to maintain their position in the discourse, one side needs to pooh pooh virtue and the other side constantly denigrates.
