As I told some of you earlier, your best bet is to forget about PSFT for at least one year. Take a look at it again at the end of 1999. That's when this stock might see some life again. What is extremely troubling is ORCL's statement that SAP was heavily discounting its software. I think we might see a crappy quarter for PSFT. I hope not, but then again it makes no difference to me since I sold all my PSFT for a substantial loss 2 weeks ago. I just can't believe I missed the macro trend in the industry. I got too focused on the company itself and didn't pay attention to broader dismal trends. That is why PSFT has imploded.
