The vote this week. Let's not get too far ahead.

One day at a time, one week at a time. The tide is
turning towards impeachment. IMO

>>No way the Senate will vote to impeach, strict party lines have been drawn and 2/3 of the Senate will not happen.

You are right, it is not even possible for the Sentate to vote to impeach. Only the HOUSE votes to impeach, the sentate votes to convict or not. IMPEACHMENT IS ONLY THE EQUIVALENT OF AN INDICTMENT, I.E. THE BRINGING OF CHARGES, A VOTE FOR IMPEACHMENT, EVEN IF IT PASSES WILL NOT REMOVE THE PRESIDENT FROM OFFICE. A vote for impeachment then moves the process to the senate where a trial is held and Klinton must be convicted by 2/3 senate. I doubt that will happen, but impeachment does looks likely (yippee!).

Sorry for SHOUTING, but it really drives me nuts when I see people make these mistakes...we see poll after poll stating "75% of the people are against impeachment etc etc..." UNFORTUNATELY 75% OF THE PEOPLE ALSO DO NOT EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT IMPEACHMENT IS!.

We really should have an IQ test as a pre-requesitite for voting...
