JC PENNY about the same mkt cap as AMZN. Look at the differences in revenue and earnings. Why would one pay 220$ for a business that is losing tons of money. imo.

ASIA IS DOWN AGAIN, mkt will continue to go down at open. AMZN based on very generous 17c earnings for the year 2000 and based on outrageous PE of 50 will give target price of 17cx50 = $8.50. AMZN will be at about 10$ in year 2000. It seems that everyone is thinking that will dump their AMZN at some profit during the next three to siz months; like after the split, or right before earnings release and so on. Very likely very very few will be holding on till 2000, may be nil.

The scenario that will happen is that when almost all the AMZN stocks are sold out from the brokerage and insiders (they are gradually dumping their shares), and one morning AMZN will be down 100$ or so because of a bad downgrade. After that it will follow the typical penny stock syndrome. All imo.
