Kevin,

Can I summarize your comments:

1. The public is ignorant about Clinton.
2. The selfless Republicans in the House of Representatives are sacrificing themselves for the sake of right.
3. The public is ignorant about the economy.
4. If the public wasn't so ignorant, Clinton's ratings would be in the single digits and he would be thrown out of office.
5. I am ignorant about the Constitution.

Do I detect a streak of arrogance here?

Should Thomas Jefferson have resigned because he had an illegitimate child with a slave girl?

Kevin, the logical answer is for Congress to amend the constitution to require every citizen to appear on television and detail their extramarital affairs under oath. They could grandfather the law back to when Clinton met Monica and specify that the smallest violation was a "high crime".

After that, impeaching Clinton would be a piece-of-cake. And TV would get a whole lot more interesting too. :^)
