Paul, Peleese! Here is one of your posts from the Motley fool July of 97. TLC closed about $6.75 a share that day. I remember it well because I had just purchased the stock two weeks prior. :-)

What do you take us for a fool like those Motley boys? <gg>

as reported last Nov/96, I warned investors of the pitfalls, but many
at SI ridiculed my analysis.

I'm now watching carefully to see if anything has changed, especially
after this Furhman Selz recommendation. ( I have not seen it but will advise asap when I do )

I recall for example SSK had the terrible habit of hyping itself prior to earnings releases, then w/o fail, the stock would sell off.

I also recall last Oct when a better known investment firm hyped it
as a screaming buy.

Herb Greenberg 1st drew my attention to the business practises at SSK (now TLC) they have used smoke & mirror acctg, and artificially boosted sales to their distributors inorder to make the Q's.

Even though TLC stock price suffered since last fall, I have my doubts that TLC will be able to earn enough cash to pay off debt,
make investments into new products, or even manage the new co.

I also believe that TLC will have to re structure its debt by
offering a lower conversion factor, thereby killing the share value.

Quite frankly, the co real value is less than $5.00. buyers beware.
