Wallace, there are only two explanations for the Republican vendetta: 1. They are total idiots. 2. They have figured out that they will lose everything in 2000 and are trying to take whatever ground they can now. Of course their current agenda assures this outcome. I live in an extremely conservative Republican area of the South. But I have been hearing a lot of folks say that they will be voting a straight Democratic ticket in 2000 for the first time in many years. Impeachment is the best outcome for Gore and other Democrats and I will shed no tears for Clinton.
