Didn't Nixon resign after several Republican senators came to him and told him they were supporting the impeachment process. The Democrats had been howling for months, but the Republicans made the difference. So far very few Democrats have taken a stand against the BC behavior (I don't consider supporting censure taking a stand) I am an independent voter. I may not be able to vote for a Democrat again unless more of them stand up for treating the perjury and other actions seriously.
