Hey Brian, I did the same thing. It is an incredibly painful lesson. I lost about 60% of my investment. But it's our fault for not reading the macro signs like industry trends (or at least not believing them). The silver lining is that I honestly do believe that this is temporary. ERP firms will once again be in favor after the end of 1999. The question is whether PSFT will regain its prior ascendancy, or will ORCL bypass them and SAP remain king. Who knows? I'll look at the situation again on 1/1/00.
