If it serves the company's purpose in waiting for additional acquisitions to complete, why wouldn't it be in their and our best interest? The alluded to "smokescreen" may be to keep outsiders, such as you, from bothering the future 'partners'.

I agree on this one. Why in the world would a company trust financials that were not independently audited and meeting minimal standards set by the SEC? I'm not interested in deals made in smoke-filled rooms out of the public view. I can see no justtification for that whatsoever.
