I just searched my WFR data and found you are correct. Looks like WFR is scheduled to start production of 300mm wafers in 2001.

I visited Costco over the weekend and checked out their computer section. At the low end they had 3 models on display. Intel's product had the lowest price - and had the most people checking it out!
