Seems like many are negative on PSFT..........IMHO, Apparently the Oracle comments about SAP cutting prices has moved PSFT down. This sediment should pass soon. Also, sounds like it could be the time to buy for those who believe in it's future. The IBM / PSFT announcement down the road is very positive. " Buy low ..... Sell high " Investing 101.... For the record, I am long the stock.

Happy holidays to all.

Tom

I suppose the other factor to consider is when the MM's are going
start feeling satisfied with their positions and start pumping up the
stocks in this space. Thanx for the tips. I will continue to research the issue and hold the stock. If I can free up a little
money (and the amount I need is getting littler all the time), I will average down yet again.

We just had some folks from the Public Service Company of New Mexico in here the other day. They're considering going PeopleSoft and are going to try to get it in by 1/1/00. So some companies believe there
is still time. Also, I polled the seven odd (and some are truly odd) PSFT consultants I know, and they thought that the intense competition was for consultants, with fees still spiralling. Or course this is current work, work that is already in the books.

I suppose I have been led into a fools paradise the last few months
despite all my efforts at research. I don't know what else I can
do at this point but remember, "it is not a loss until you sell."

By the way, I have also been slammed by SAP. This space has got
to come back sometime. Thinking of averaging down there too.
