DR.TECH, thank you for your Christmas present. I missed not hearing from you. I needed some hard information to keep my paranoia in check. Please don't be such a stranger, you're one poster I always welcome hearing from -- good or bad news -- though good is better. You seem to be the only way we can get any information about Westell.

Thanks again.

Michael

PS. See if you can get BA to hurry up and supply ADSL to New York.

DR. TECH,
Glade to hear from you, …….hope all that you have posted becomes FACT, and NOT OPINION, and the stock does indeed go back up 20 to 25 points. Seems that you are one of the only sources of info we can get out of this company. Again thanks for the info and go Westell!!!

Thanks for the reply. We sit here in the dark with this stock and we wonder why. (guess that isn't a good investment strategy) Patience is a virtue and it is truely tested with this stock.

Lol. You must be dreaming now huh? :P

There must be a reason why institutional holdings have
decreased. WSTL stock may seem cheap, but there must
be a reason why it's cheap.

Anthony

>>Inst holding have dropped from 40% to 14%.

That happened before the stock first hit 5, not just now. The latest moves had little change in Inst. ownership ( unless they bought and sold within qtr.) Hardly institutional trading, agreed?

>>When ADSL news starts to flow it will

What news? the great BEL news in OCT? Or the reiterate ( the great rebate policy) that led to the latest "uptick"?

>>Financing is nearing

My guess is that there may be a few interested parties on this other the Bullish SI hopefuls

>>.FTEL/WSTL, BT is going great

Great news! So we are talking how many thousands of lines this quarter? And does that correlate with that massive 2000 line trial we heard about this past quarter in press release? or is that the latest
WSTL definition of "great" in the ADSL world. I am feeling that some $20 shareholders define great "a might bit different".

>>.Finally the PCM analyst, I respect his ADSL brain,

I am not sure that it is a good idea to respect the brain of an analyst.
His target was $8 (right?) and did he not get it ? If he was your broker and gave you a call to buy at 5 ish for a pop to 8 and maybe gave you an exit 'round 7 and high change... And it went in a flash.

you set the targets and then it crashes. Do you complain? No!
Unless you held! His call was brilliant for now. Why should compound the problem in a down market with a call for 12 from 4!?!
Major laugher

I suggest you stay with the inside call and forget the stock call, JMHO.

>>AT these prices its a risk/reward joke!

Maybe so,if you...have faith ( Virgin Mary Style).

Dr. Tech...I have all of your posts since the first day you posted April 2, 1998...You have (IN YOUR HUMBLE OPINION) promised the world with all sorts of promises of which less than 1% have come to occur... You've stated that LU product was ready for sale in Nov and nothing happened..You've stated GTE was sick of ORCTF and going to use WSTL???...You've stated that BEL was going to make strategic investment in WSTL?? You've stated that "WSTL thread will be gone soon!!!"...that WSTL was going to be bought out and that the mere leakage would drive the stock up to "15" with a buy-out of "25 to 32" "1 billion is that big anymore"..."Company is up for sale"...and MUCH MUCH MUCH MORE...

Now you are saying that WSTL wins back BC DMT contract??? and gets DMT for BEL and how great BT is going (IS WSTL even making $ on BT contract??? I don't think so) and lada lada de...Do me a F___King FAVOR and go back and read all of your posts and tell me how the hell we can believe what you preach? You are quite the Marketing Man here on SI but we are at $4.25, not far from the 52 week lows again...You have cost me mucho bucks and I get sucked in to your BS everytime...What the F? It sounds great UNTIL IT DOESN'T HAPPEN and then is sucks...BIG TIME!

Whats more amazing is how you(one side) preach the positive and the otherside of WTSL preaches the negative...what a F___Ked up company!

You must the busman (or Yousuckloser) over at Yahoo playing us like fools by going short after each of your SI posts because if you are long WSTL you are dumber than dumb...Is your name Jim?

<WSTL wins canadian PTT DMT dslam order...> Is this suppose to be Bell Canada? Has anyone else heard of this possibilty? I know Dr. Tech implied a while ago that WSTL would be brought in to BC for DMT through ALA???? If WSTL won a DMT contract (any DMT contract)...that would be HUGE! Better if it were BEL or BC...

Michael...<A bad day?> How about a bad year!...Worse, I sold a large position last Monday...Dr.'s update late by a couple of days :(

Sorry doc, opinions from an anonymous poster on SI, even one that seems to have the inside scoop such as yourself, just isn't going to cut it anymore. The info HAS to come from the horses mouth, Westell or one of the other principals.
Just MHO.

OK...Lets assume that the Dr.'s info is accurate and <....Financing is nearing and I put my money on a data integrator...>

The questions is, if the earnings are off again (which I would assume they are due to the forward pricing and continued R&D), how will that play on the stock.

IMHO the stock has already priced in bad earnings and if the "data integrator" is to the likes of a LU/Fujitsu/ or similar type co. that the news of that type of a company investing in WSTL should more than out way any negative earnings. Futher more, I would assume that the amount of money coming from this sort of deal would more than support negative earnings for this qtr.

Any one else care to share their thoughts on the above senario?
