I'm staying negative on the market until the DOW rises above the short-term downtrend
line LG mentioned in a previous post (connect the highs of 11/30, 12/8, 12/9, 12/10. At
that point I'll turn cautious.


I get it now Chris,

I just connected the line and we are almost at that point to be cautious...

So if the chart break through this line, then maybe it is considered to be reversing the down trend?
What is the significance of this line?

Here is another TICK question. I have noticed that whatever the action is on any given day, the TICK at the close is almost always 400 +/- about 50. Am I hallucinating? Or is there some reason for this?
