Substantive as usual, K. Reno backed up the chain of command, much to the relief of the FBI cowboys who came up with that tragic plan. I assume you approve of Vernon Howell's procreative activities? Some people did appear to be in danger there, according to DNA testing.

Would you care to comment on the old Jesse Helms output that Borzou dug up? Message 6854021

Sen. Jesse Helms (R-N.C.), the incoming Foreign Relations Committee chairman, outraged Republicans and Democrats alike yesterday after making a statement - which he later said he regretted - that President Bill Clinton is so unpopular on military bases in North Carolina that he "better have a bodyguard" if he visits the state.

"Mr. Clinton better watch out if comes down here," Helms told The News & Observer of Raleigh on Monday.

Helms' regret was somewhat qualified, as pointed out later in the story. But this is all a historical dodge, right K? Just like the adulterous papal knight business, and totally unlike Clinton's "draft dodging", which was of course contemporary with the papal knight's outside activities. Beside, LesX has way more visibility and influence than old Jesse, right K?

Now, I must duck and cover before the counterattack of the firehose unit squad.

<< Janet Reno accepted responsibility for the killings of...in Waco>> God K what bulls##t! You compare a mistake in judgement with a deliberate encouragement at assassination??? If that's the best you can do shame on you.It amazes me how quick the right have come out of the woodwork to make hay for their pet political beefs from this issue. << both sides of the political spectrum have their equal share of fringe lunatics>> Very good. If you had followed my dialog with Mike you would have seen that this was the point I was making as well.
