I see Oil +.50 at 12.05, we need to break OSX 65. Will the Iraq situation and the meeting on thursday spark a 3 day rally ? With this sector, who the hell knows !!

"Vegas Odds'' ... ?

1. we strike Iraq
2. OPEC announces new cuts
3. Venezeula & Mexico announce new cuts
4. Winter blankets Americas heartland
5. Brent moves to $12
6. Clinton does not get impeached
7. the tax loss sellers turn into buyers on Dec 31st ...forward - let alone the short covering on both crude futures and oilpatch stocks on any or all of these events !

...another "Suckers Rally'' or the beginning of the ''Real Deal'' that finally sticks ? In essence - we are all betting one way or the other on the above. Personally; I'm betting on ''hitting'' 6 of 7 here; and won't be surprised on ''running the table''.... 4 of 7 makes the Oilpatch move up substiantially imho. In reviewing the likliehood of the above events - how can one not be ''in-play'' here ?

comments ?

once again; No one has an answer for the proverbial enigma in the 'patch ----> one can not buy oilpatch stocks cheap when we have positive crude fundamentals ! One either has to buy them cheap when fundamentals are poor; or to buy them when they are not so cheap, when fundamentals are good ? - What was the old saying about buying low & selling high ?
