When a brokerage has put a "HOLD" recommendation on a stock, it is really saying that it is recommending "SELL". The only reason they don't say "SELL" is because they don't want to start a panic "SELL". If you have watched how this is done, you rarely will see a outright "SELL".

Note however that it's a Hold, not a Buy, and they still
jacked it straight up over a point in fifteen minutes.
Any excuse will do during expiration week, huh. Also
note that it came out in the middle of the trading day.
I think this the "yet another upgrade" I was calling
for, LOL! (of course, we have two days left, we've all
seen that one tout is not always enough)
