Hey, some of us like "cluttering the thread."

I heard something recently from someone which I had been meaning to post in one of my usual "O.T." (but not sufficiently O.T. so as to be "flamed") posts.

Maybe you "debry.com" people can write something on it.

Apparently, among the many things to worry about regarding 12/31/99 is software controlling nuclear power plants.

I assume a lot of them will just shut down (or, run at 5% of capacity) for a while.

I am wondering what is going on with futures contracts and their predictions for spot electricity trading for Dec 1999 and Jan 2000.

(I have not yet looked into this myself. The contracts are thinly traded, and may not even go out 12 months yet).
