Its occurred to me that the drop from 20 to 17 reflects the $3 per share...spin-off company value...that is in each PSFT share...A stock usually rises before a dividend and then drops after the dividend...so it is important that the stock hold 17 after the spin-off...(Each 50 share block of PSFT will receive one share of the spin-off company...and I'm estimating a market value of $150 per share for the spin-off company!...)...

Re-pricing of options?...Here's how I would re-price options...I would set a date one year forward and offer the option of re-pricing on that date...as the employees do not need protection against a dip...but do need a protection of basic company value...

The spin-off company?...It would be great if the spin-off company was a service to businesses...by providing access to applications and databases via the internet...(which is something that Oracle is planning)...but that is not what they are saying...they are saying general R&D in areas outside their core products...
