In light of the fact that the rich[ that is top 5% of wage earners ] are paying something in the neighborhood of 50% of income taxes collected. And I believe you will agree that the poor are the main beneficiaries of social welfare programs. I think that that is the poor being taken care of by the rich. Sorry I don't know of any other way to say it. If my assessment is incorrect please tell me how so.What is to be done? Just say tough? Do it on your own? Get a job? I don't say the solution is simple. Just the stating of the problem.
