>> I have no doubt if the AMZN or YHOO people were behind NXTL, it would EASILY be a $100.00 stock (near term). >> Satellite Mike: Agree 1000%. Nextel has been trying to sell a technology package that mirrors the internet in a box that has "CELLULAR" written all over it. They need to get away from the straight "blocky" black and white wacky and boxy marketing image. Those billboards are wearing thin.... I'm back in my position guys..... Working with Nextel's Chicago team to more directly bring them into this viral, one-on-one, network marketing-based business model which I think has the potential to blow the doors down nationwide. I'm a large client of Nextel that is currently restructuring for future growth, but I need their patience and support. I would like to meet Ackerson, Donahue and McCaw someday for Nextel users nationwide have become ONE BIG TRIBE. The tribe is lacking leaders. We aren't selling PCS cellular everyone. My post "cake eating" reflections on their move to change the Chicago pricing model to eliminat the $79 plan...... - they want to balkanize the plan base with more options to reduce the amount of pooled billing that's going on. - they're anticipating Sprint's entry to the market soon and want to be prepared to negotiate from a higher level at various strategic price points so they don't get backed into ONE corner: better to create 4-6 corners for the enemy to try to back you into so you can better negotiate a competive response that's more product and service-based rather than price-based. Nextel would be best served to look at their users as an network asset pool that needs to be tapped NOW versus in 1-2 years when all of Craig's vision finally comes together. I can bundle/package Nextel's service with literally any business anytime anywhere - my broker at Fidelity, my dentist, doctor, bricklayer, kiddie-pool driver, baby-sitter, etc. Sure I can also bundle it into long distance telecom, computer fullfillment, straight business to business referrals, etc. I'm a "Nextel Man" and I've got the plan.... And I think I've finally gotten "smart". Thanks for the cake Arnie...... PS - I'm too lazy and rushed this am to post this on Yahoo...Jimmyyyooo or Al ....can you help out?
