Hi Bernie, It's been my experience with Value Line that stocks already rated "1" for timeliness may already have done the majority of their upward run. You might do better looking at stocks that have recently been moving up in timeliness rating. This might let you get in earlier.

In general, I've not put much faith in the timeliness ratings. It's seemed a bit "late to the party" for my liking. I like their BETA, Stock Price Stability ratings the best. I also look at their long term historical sales and book value growth. I like to see a double every 5 years or less.

Are you getting the "expanded" version or the regular 1700 stocks? A library in a near by town has the expanded version and it's nice to see info in an understandable format on smaller cap stocks.

I don't know much about Wade Cook. Hope the free seminar is worth as much as you pay for it!!! :-)

Best regards, Tom

Hi Bernie,
Ask Wade if I can trade in one of his old Government Loan Seminar books from the early 80's, for his new stock system. He was pushing those back in the days of Joe Rush, Jim Wyatt, and Ed Beckley's "No money down" seminars for real estate. Actually I did pull off a handful of no money down deals on some duplexes I still own in Austin. But in the long run, I gained whole lot more info from the Joe Rush's tax strategy tapes than Wade's stuff.
