Thats what I thought Les! Forbes is a moderate (or even slightly liberal) on social issues - my kind of guy. Robert, check again on Forbes social agenda hes to smart to be a fundamentalist Christian.

Flame away.

Forbes is pro-choice.

I don't think so, but I could certainly be wrong.

My CPA tells me the Cap Gains tax cut is a sham because a lot of people will get hit with AMT.

I believe that Forbes advocates the abolition of capital gains taxes and the establishment of a flat income tax. I like the sound of that, although abolishing the IRS and instituting a national sales tax or VAT in lieu of any income tax would be even better, IMO.

Forbes is pro-choice.

That means, not only will he not be nominated, but the RR will also fry him in the primaries before dumping him!

Any person who makes it to the nomination as the Republican candidate has to be anti-abortion in the primaries and then change colors by pretending to be a "compassionate conservative", to win the Presidential election. Won't work. The people will easily see such a candidate for what he is -- a puppet of the RR who is just telling people what he thinks they want to hear.

Les,
I believe you are misinformed on this. Unless I missed something, Steve Forbes has moved into the Pro-Life camp following Clinton's vote on partial birth abortions.
