Hey Earlie, don't run off. Stay for awhile, get comfortable, tell us what you're seeing. Your posts are great.

The new cycle will be RDRAM. DRAM inventory if there is one will be written down and the production ramp up for RDRAM will give the semi industry new life.

Earlie, thanks for the insight. But didn't we hear this last year? And haven't PC related stocks zoomed forward with many at all time highs? Even the component companies have doubled from their lows 6 months ago.

Gee. Fundamental insight in hyped sectors doesn't really matter anymore. In fact, it may well be the cause of lost trading profits. Sir, may I recommend a side order of MU to go with that CPQ stock? MU will be at $75 in a blink of an eye.

If you buy the dips, you will find it easy to ignore being called a dipster as you will be rolling in the money.

Interesting action in MU call options:
cbs.marketwatch.com

Excerpt:
"Remember that this column closed on Tuesday noting the heavy trading in Micron Technology (MU), particularly in the December 50 calls (MU LJ). Nearly 5,000 of those contracts changed hands on Tuesday, closing off 1/8 to 9/16. "

Earlie, It is certainly odd that Da Banker would have such a silly optimistic view on MU. <G> It is making for some nice put buying opportunities.

Every time I hear Niles' name, I laugh. He is the guy who told MU "congratulations on another great quarter" a while back when they reported their first quarterly loss of this cycle.
