NO, Im not complaining at all, My reason for wanting a cable modem is for unrelated internet activities, like downloading large programs and files, like i said, i don't depend on the emails and i really didnt notice that they were late. Just trying to help other people with their problem. If i change to cable, ill just keep my isp as a backup till i resubscribe to SA, But thanx anyway

That's why we replace at my work a year ago all the Novell and Netscape garbage with Microsoft exchange severs.I recieve email from Europe in 1/10 of a second or sent.
The best email program out there is Microsoft outlook for the last couple years.The most reliable and trouble free,try it,is free.

To test the speed of your ISP,go to DOS and type C:\ping(and the IP # of your choice) and you will get back a response time of the packet.That way you can see if is your system or your ISP is slow.
