Tim,

>>>2. The decision is partisan. Which means it does not matter if Clinton prejured or commited other offenses.<<<

All politics is partisan. That's because we have political parties. Each part is going to minimize its own wrongdoing and maximize the other's wrongdoing. Which is the case this time? Both.

I don't see how your first sentence above leads you to conclude the second sentence. If Clinton had say imbezzeled money hypothetically speaking, Dem's would be saying, "Aw cmon it's just a little money, so what?" and the Rep's would be saying "This is the most aggregious offense in the history of our nation..." Does that mean that, in this hypothetical case, the crime doesn't matter, because it's partisian?

I think it is very possible to anyone, me, you, whomever, to evaluate the seriousness of the wrongdoing independent of what the politicians are doing and saying. I don't really care what spin the Reps and Dems put on it. I know that he committed perjury. And it does matter.

>>If all the evidence is so strong, why only a couple Democrats vote for impreachment.<<

partisanship, just like i said. both aisles are guilty.

>>Do tell me Republican somehow has higher moral standards. The
point I was making is:<<

nope, 98% of both aisles are all self serving scumbags out to fleece you and i to increase their own personal wealth and the wealth of those they care about.

i dislike both parties, but prefer clinton to the alternatives of gore or a republican. however, i'm not willing to suspend what i consider basic decency just b/c i prefer something.

i hope nobody ever lies in court against you when your *ss is on the line. know this, though. i'd be on your side even if all the democrats or republicans or whomever said "no big deal" b/c they weren't involved.

again, if bill doesn't lie under oath, lie to the american people, attempt to provide "alternate realities" to potential witnesses then this issue has already been completed. the american people are voting - through their representatives.

if the majority of americans approved of slavery would you support it? if the majority of americans supported kicking bill out of office would you then be quoting the polls? polls don't prove jack. bill didn't lie in the american people's courtroom. he lied in paula jone's affidavit. paula jone's deserves justice whether the american people think she does or not.

the bottom line is that bill will be impeached but will stay in office. bill's record will be tarnished, as it should be.
