Anybody else get the latest proxy statement in the mail?

They want to increase the shares used for employee incentive from 10% to 25%.

BAD timing, and insulting.

I'm voting "no".

Fred, I completely agree. I am so fed up with the mismanagement that I feel like exiting. But the fundamentals are quite compelling if they can generate any interest. TDFX situation reduces certainty however.

I don't think Sim needs to step down as leader. He has too big of a holding to do so and not damage the stock. Unfortunately, the company has no financial leadership whatsoever. A better managed company in their position would easily have become the third pillar of computing by this point. You figure that with careful management of estimates, confidence in management's ability, and decent expenditure on PR/IR, the company would have a stock price double to triple that of today's. Now how hard would it be to buy TDFX on the side in a stock deal? Or any other company for that matter?

Now my plan is to give Lisa a serious call once I get off for Christmas break next week and get some time to do these things. I plan to ask her to address share buyback strategy (which seem to directly contradict their letter to shareholders), graphics card strategy, and current business goings-on.

If you have anything specific to add to this, I'd appreciate the input. I value your opinion, especially if you have any other investment ideas! <g> BTW, does anyone here follow ECGOF? This has been a stock I looked at briefly a year ago and passed up. I was suprised to see it so low. What happened?
