Because Livingston stood up to an act of political blackmail by the Clinton WH and remained steadfast in doing his Constitutional duty. The Dems cannot defend Clinton intellectually or honestly. What I can understand is that the Dems support a perjurer and liar who had hundreds of affairs and than ran in 1996 on "family values". Clinton is the first president known mainly for his lies. I can understand it because Dems are mostly stupid and/or dishonest.
