The spoo also has a all time high not much higher than 1200 as I recall, on the continuous contract. That would put the SPX at about 1198, or 1200, on the spoo hitting 1210. That's rather high, I don't think it will do it. Of course, expiration being what it is anything can happen after 2 o'clock Eastern. Frankly, if the OEX is trending above 85 then I may scalp a long at that time myself. The other issue is that no one is short from 1210, who's gonna cover? If there are no sellers the market can't go very high.
