Sandie perhaps a bigger detriment is the ISP's back bone. Check out pricing from 90% of the ISP's for a T1 account. I'd pay more for an xDSL line with always on service but I'm not ready to pay $600 to $1000 for internet access. That's what I've seen for prices so far. Even at lower levels (128k-256K) they are quit pricey for home use.
