Any word on if CIEN is developing WaveLength
switching. Think of the value of switching
from wavelenth 1 one their long haul to
wavelength 7 on their Metro solution and then
being able to manage that.

Today for that type of connectivity everyone has
to Regen as a SONET OC-n out of one and into the
other and its a beast to manage. Could they have
this in their labs under wraps?

Long-time Ciena investors may remember founder David Huber?

He founded Ciena and then mere months after it went public in Feb97
he left to start another fiber-optic technology company, now known as
Corvis. Here's an update on him from the Baltimore Sun...
