** OT ** HELP Please!!!

Thread:

I am planning to install Windows 98 on my PC, but I currently use (and prefer) the Netscape browser (Communicator, ver. 4.5). Will I run into problems, and if so, what can I do about them?

Your help and advice is greatly appreciated

TTFN,
CTC

<--OT-->
Mohan

Anyone as caustic as me cannot afford thin skin, besides I have a mission.

I have requested SI Admin to give us filtering capability for "OT", posters and key words. They are listening. There are others who have also made this request (I made mine in a PM post to Admin). If and when SI implements this filtering capability there is a need for posters have to use "OT" at or near the top of messages. Some here are not used to it like you are and some simply are either too arrogant or don't really care about the rest... they simply want to spew at will.

If everyone had a cable modem, the "Next" option would really work, IMO. However, most of us rely on 33.6 or 56k. I had an opportunity to do the SI threads from an "@Home" cable connection on Wednesday. I went through all DELL, CSCO, IBM, CTXS, MSFT boards in less than a half hour. Awesome speed!

SI Admin wants to control content on their boards and dedicated threads. However, most everyone gets steamed now and then and jabs back at posters with opposing views or simply vents on whatever thread he happens to be on at the moment. No problem... just so long as it doesn't degrade mostly <--OT-->.

Everyone here would benefit by emulating your posting conventions.
