Bob, If you are on several threads where people post the trading logs, you will notice the same MM's from one stock to another. MM's are involved with multiple stocks and transactions every day. This is why the notion of their knowing all about each stock and who had what rumored is absurd. They are simply much too busy. They simply gage their trading by supply and demand. Yes they do employ psychology but they don't do some of the head fakes and such that posters like to talk about. Simply put, they make their living by the spread. Increased trading volume, the spread decreases and vice versa.
