vlad...maybe Vivus and the USA marketing partner wants to see all of the same items so they can agree on a deal.

Vlad, potential buyers or partners may be watching competitive development as well. Some questions now may be: Is time on the side of VVUS? Can they pull together the financial resources to survive one, two, three more quarters without a powerful domestic re-launch with so many what-ifs hanging fire? I have often wondered what Leland's personal agenda might be. Most probably, a buyout would send him packing with some type of compensation package. A partnership would subordinate him in key areas, maybe send him packing too. He'd have to have steel ones to remain objective during such negotiations considering the recent history and current condition of Vivus.
