Dinesh,

ITWO or MANU is probably who you're thinking of. ITWO is already a close partner with ORCL and is considered the SCM leader. MANU is subject to constant takeover rumor.

The only 2 significant SCM vendors are ITWO (the clear leader) and Manugistics.

Oracle ERP has a pretty close relationship with both, but soemthing unique about the I2 "partnership" - not quite sure the details. SO for example if you want to buy Oracle ERP + SCM, as I understand it the Oracle rep will recommend I2 for discrete (high tech) mfg and Manu for CPG and he/she gets the commission as if it were an Oracle product.

Psft acquired Red Pepper really early on in the SCM game which was quite a coup... but Im not sure if they have been able to execute.
